Meet The Wing!

So, you want to know more about the Chicken Wing, do you?  Here goes.

I am a fierce and fiery 20-something with a zest for life! Sassy and Southern, I'm usually unafraid to tell it like it is – all while using perfect manners, of course. I strive to continuously be on the lookout for all the goodness that life has to offer.

On any given day, you can find me busy working on numerous projects at the same time, but I am immensely grateful to have the opportunity to reach out to everyone on the interwebs and share my perspective with all of you! My genuine hope and dream is to help as many people as I possibly can in my lifetime, all while wearing ridiculously cute shoes…because really, isn’t that what life is all about?

I have an unhealthy obsession with Olive Garden, sweet tea, crab legs, hush puppies in honey butter, damask-patterned anything, fried chicken from my hometown (is that wrong considering my moniker?), and cheese (lots of cheese, please). Clearly, I'm not afraid to divulge that to the world.  I hope to one day "become good at" design, whether it be in regards to fashion, interior decorating, or artwork of any kind.  I'm willing to go down trying!

I am a believer in pink (and by pink, I mean "You know you want to look at me" hot pink).  I also believe in God with all my heart, and I know that anything I'm blessed enough to have, He has given to me.  I don't take that kind of love for granted.  I believe that anyone can change the world and make it better.

In a nutshell, though, I'm just a girl, going through my quarter-life crisis. I'm out in the real world trying to figure out who and what I want to be! As of right now, I don't completely know either of those things, but what I do know is that I have been blessed with the most AMAZING family and friends in the entire world, and this blog is for them as much as it's for myself!

On a side note, I recently have a new title to add to the mix, which would be "LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE."  Why?

I am a recent newlywed - married to the most amazing man I've ever met, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it.  He is one of the greatest blessings in my life, and I thank God every day for bringing us together and guiding and leading our relationship every step of the way.  We call him "Comanche" around these parts, and there will surely be more of his handsome face appearing on the blog!  God is so GOOD!
