I Love Patterns - No Really, I Do!

This post is dedicated to a majorly SICK obsession that I have.

She can be colorful. She can be regular (but still oh-so-classy) black and white. She is curvy, and just too sexy.

What is she? Who/What is this thing that I love (that obviously must be a pattern)?

Yes, folks, damask is her name, and royal elegance and fun are her games! For some reason, I stumbled across this pattern sometime over the past year, and I don't know why I never paid her much attention before - after all, she's been around way longer than I have!

So, I decided to share some lovely damask (pronounced (dam esk - the "a" is short)) inspiration with you, and then, in a later post, I will show you how I've chosen to personally introduce this pattern into the Casa de Chicken Wing.

First and foremost, you can see the outside edges of this blog! There's a gorgeous example of damask and this blog background speaks to my essence - damask, fuschia, and diamonds - yes, yes, and yes!

So, as you can see, once you find something you like, it's pretty easy to find inspiration in the land of the internets! :) I like to become obsessed with something, search for inspiration, let my mind run wild, and then rein myself back in and focus on whatever project comes out of it!
